These specific issues are exactly why there's an age restriction of 16 to obtain a guide dog. And even so most schools won't accpet anyone that young unless they can prove how exceptionally responsible and capable they are. Personally, I'm glad I waited until I was 19 before getting my first dog and even then I think if I understood all the ins and outs of it I may have rethought the decision and waited a few more years. But in the end I was physically capable of handling and controlling my dog, which I think is the fundamental flaw with autism service dogs.
