Service Dog Trainer and Consultant – Argos Working Dogs August

2008- Current
  • Training dogs to assist people with disabilities and teaching the handlers how to use these dogs and maintain their training.
  • Developing methods to train dogs to assist adults with autism spectrum disorders and mobility disorders.
  • Advocating locally and nationally for the access rights of service dog users.
  • Consulting with individuals interested in using service dogs or having issues in training their own dog.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – University of Kansas

August 2008 - Current
  • Teaching daily classes, developing lesson plans for introductory level college Latin classes, preparing and administering tests and quizzes.

Latin and Science Teacher – Heritage Academy

  • Taught one year of introductory Latin to 3rd-6th grade students.
  • Taught three semesters of science to students in the 3rd-4th grades and the 5th and 6th grades.
