Daisy's Training Process

Daisy is being trained with high handler involvement, which means that I (the trainer) have the dog living with me during the training problem, but the handler works with the dog on a regular basis. The hope is with this process bonding can occur gradually over a period of time and it won't be necessary to take three to four weeks of intense training to accomplish basic bonding and handling techniques.

Daisy is being trained by positive reinforcement. We are generally using the techniques presented in the Teamwork series of books for basic obedience. Public access training is gradually introduced after basic obedience benchmarks are met.
